TechCrunch.com and 500 Startups have announced today that VIA Global Health is participating in an intensive business growth and accelerator program hosted in San Francisco by the industry-leaders, 500 Startups. This is a prestigious honor, as VIA was chosen as one of 44 companies out of 2500+ that applied. The program focuses on business growth and expansion and fundraising, and VIA will be in San Francisco until mid-May to focus on shrinking the global healthcare gap by creating access to necessary medical equipment for billions of people in emerging markets. We are thrilled to accelerate our reach and to tap into an increasing percentage of the trillions of dollars spent annually on medical equipment across emerging markets.
VIA joins 43 other companies from 11 countries to collaborate with some of the most innovative and up-and-coming entrepreneurs in the industry, from Digital Health, FinnTech, GovTech, SaaS, AI/bots, big data, marketplaces, analytics devops and hardware.
